Alaska Wooden Toys LLC has been making novelty wooden toy handicrafts for over 20 years. These were the type of toys that their son Jeremy had that lasted and stood the test of time on a commercial fishing boat as he was growing up. Their little wood shop in Alaska was just the place to build more. These novelty toys are made out of a large variety of hardwoods and local woods and no two are exactly the same. The colors in the toys are from the wood itself, finished with a food safe wood chopping block oil and faces are hand drawn with child safe markers. The toys and designs are now being tested and enjoyed by their grandchildren.

Ed and Kathy Hansen have been working together since they were married. Alaska Wooden Toys is just one of the many ongoing life adventures that has kept them together for over four decades.
